Padstow Christmas Market and Festival

6th to 9th December 2018

Food heroes Rick Stein, Paul Ainsworth and Nathan Outlaw will be flying the flag for Cornwall at this year’s 10th annual Padstow Christmas Festival. The highly-acclaimed culinary trio, who are longstanding champions of the event, will be joined by a who’s who of almost 60 chefs from across the country for four days of festive celebration – Padstow style.

The chef demonstrations in the Sharp’s Chefs’ Theatre and on the Festival Stage, spread across the four days of the festival, are all free to attend and a unique opportunity for some of the country’s best chefs to share their recipes and cooking tips.

During the last decade, Padstow Christmas Festival has earned a reputation for showcasing a tempting selection of food ranging from artisan breads and cakes, chocolates, meats, cheeses, and preserves, not to mention award-winning craft beers and locally produced gins.

Locally manufactured beers, ales, gin, ciders, liquers and many others. Enjoy sampling these delicious and unique products.

Padstow Christmas Festival is the premier event in the county for showcasing exciting gifts and products from a myriad of artisan companies and manufacturers.

All set around the harbour and village. Price shown is coach only.

Padstow is situated on the West side of the Camel estuary in North Cornwall. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty with wonderful bays and beautiful golden beaches. The town itself has a colourful and ancient history. Old crooked streets slope down to the harbour where many fine medieval buildings can still be seen. Today Padstow remains a working fishing port whose produce has been made famous by Rick Stein's television series and acclaimed Seafood Restaurant. You will find beaches within walking distance of the Harbour, or a short drive along the coast will take you to some of the finest beaches in Cornwall. With its wonderful views Padstow is ideal for walking. There are any number of other restaurants, cafes, pubs, and takeaways many of whom also subscribe to Rick Stein's philosophy of making the most out of perfectly prepared, fresh Cornish produce. Rick Stein has opened no less than five eateries in the town.
